Culver Lake is a 555-acre natural lake located in northwestern New Jersey. The contributing drainage area to the lake is approximately 3,840 acres. Of the 40 stormwater outfalls to the lake, our firm focused its effort on five specific outfalls located along the northwest shore line. They were determined to be contributing the greatest sediment inflow to the lake. Work included investigation of basins and outfalls, a TR-55 stormwater analysis for each outfall, a conceptual remediation plan, and an evaluation report with recommendations. Remedial measures are ongoing.
