Cedar Grove Township – Water Asset Management PlanCP Engineers was engaged by Cedar Grove Township to develop an asset management plan for its water utility. CPE utilized the Township’s existing data to the greatest extent possible including; SCADA system, maintenance history, and Geographic Information System (GIS) mapping, for analysis in an asset management software package. The software was used to analyze the data, develop maintenance and budget plans. The asset management plan was designed to comply with the requirements of the Water Quality Accountability Act.

Mount Arlington Borough – Water Asset Management PlanCP Engineers was appointed by the Borough of Mount Arlington to develop an asset management plan for its water utility, in accordance with the requirements of the Water Quality Accountability Act. CPE cataloged all of the water system assets (approximately 1,500 individual features) using Geographic Information System (GIS) technology. This information was fed into the asset management software package along with component data, maintenance history, and other relevant information. The software was used to analyze the data, develop maintenance and budget plans, and assemble the asset management report data for compliance with the Act.

Sussex County Community College – Facility-wide Asset Management PlanSCCC retained CP Engineers to review and update a 2008 facilities condition assessment for their 160 acre campus consisting of 12 buildings totaling 210,000 sq. ft. and to establish an ongoing asset management system. CPE’s scope of services included; data gathering and analysis to update the facilities condition assessment, evaluation & recommendation of facility asset management software, evaluation of priorities based on safety, security, maintenance, performance, codes/standards, energy, liability mitigation, age/life cycle, etc. relating to deferred maintenance, capital renewals or capital improvement funding, and integration of the updated condition assessment results into the asset management system for forecasting facility needs, capital planning and justification of funding requests.

Oxford Wastewater Treatment Facility – Asset Management PlanCP Engineers prepared a computer based asset management plan for the upgraded Oxford Wastewater Treatment Facility utilizing USEPA’s Check Up Program for Small Systems (CUPSS) Asset Management Tool. CPE cataloged and input equipment types, ages, life expectancies and distinctive operation and maintenance requirements. The software provides information on assets, operation and maintenance activities, and financial status to produce a prioritized asset inventory.

Sussex County MUA – Asset Inventory, Renewal & Replacement Fund AccountingOver a 25 year period, CP Engineers performed paper-based asset management planning for many of the Authority’s facilities. The work included calculations of annual renewal and replacement fund requirements, review and projection of annual expenses vs. revenues, and five-year capital planning.
