As a Vice President of CP Engineers, Dave is responsible for client account management in the Civil/Municipal and environmental market sector. Dave manages projects from concept through construction and oversees project teams. He provides project management and engineering services to municipal and private clients.
Dave is a licensed Professional Engineer with more than 31 years of experience in civil/municipal and environmental engineering. During his career, he has managed projects for a vast client base including public, educational, and private clients involving infrastructure, facilities, and projects in the built environment.
Dave has provided engineering design and consulting services for numerous New Jersey counties, municipalities and educational facilities. He served as Board Engineer for the City of Orange Township Zoning Board of Adjustment from 2008 to 2014 and again from 2016 to present and the Planning Board from 2008 to 2014 and again from 2015 to 2019. He has also been the Land Use Board Engineer for the Borough of Mount Arlington from 2019 to present.
Dave’s various and diverse experience encompasses analysis, design, and construction of civil engineering projects such as landfill closure, natural gas, water, and sanitary and storm water infrastructure. Furthermore, it includes building structural inspection and evaluation, structural design and analysis, geotechnical and foundation design, facilities management, recreation and athletic field design and layout, site plan and subdivision layout, grading, and roadway design. He also has extensive experience with watershed hydrologic analyses, hydrologic and hydraulic analysis and design for storm water management facilities, individual subsurface disposal systems, petroleum facility design, dam hazard classification analyses, dam reconstruction and rehabilitation, and floodplain determinations for non-delineated waters.
Dave’s environmental background and knowledge involves implementation and management of contaminant investigations and remediation design at hazardous materials or waste sites along with regulatory compliance and hazardous waste reduction protocols for a major petrochemical client. Additionally, he has pervasive experience in site remediation of soil and groundwater contamination, environmental permitting and regulatory compliance for civil engineering projects, and due diligence and regulatory compliance for commercial and industrial real estate transactions.
He maintains a comprehensive knowledge of state, county and local regulatory and permitting requirements as they relate to the planning and implementation of engineering, utility and environmental projects, as well.
