Mr. Mikulka provides project management services, consultation and support on regulatory matters to the firm’s staff and clients, and assists in the administrative management of the firm. Prior to coming to the firm, he gained over 35 years of experience in the regulatory sector, having held various staff, supervisory and management titles with the NJDEP’s Compliance and Enforcement Programs, where he managed program units of up to 45 employees. Mr. Mikulka has served on numerous occasions as an expert and fact witness for NJDEP in litigation, and regularly represented the agency in contacts with elected officials, print and broadcast media, the regulated community and the public. He has also served as a faculty coordinator and instructor for Rutgers University’s Office of Continuing Professional Education for over 30 years. In addition, Mr. Mikulka has trained hundreds of professionals in Interest Based Negotiation concepts and techniques, and has had many years of practical experience in negotiation, mediation and other forms of dispute resolution.
