Sussex County Municipal Utilities Authority

C&P provided environmental engineering consultation services to the Sussex County Municipal Utilities Authority (SCMUA) with regard to the development and implementation of the Wallkill River Watershed Management Plan since it's inception. The SCMUA is acting as lead agency and primary contractor to NJDEP for Plan development. C&P prepared the Scope of Work for the Watershed Plan, and was instrumental in obtaining an NJDEP planning grant for the SCMUA.

C&P is representing both the Sussex County Municipal Utilities Authority and Warren County (Pequest River) Municipal Utilities Authority as stakeholders to the Watershed Management Planning process in the Upper Delaware region. The firm will provide input to the Plan with regard to the determination of issues of importance relative to water resources within the watershed on behalf of the Authorities.

Our firm was selected by the County of Sussex to prepare a County-wide Wastewater Management Plan, including all twenty-four (24) municipalities within the County and four (4) additional municipalities within Morris County. Complete Wastewater Management Plan mapping, as regulated under N.J.A.C. 7:15, was developed for the entire county in GIS format utilizing ARC View software.

This effort was the result of a grant from the NJDEP and resulted in one of the first such "county-wide" Plans submitted to the Department.

C&P has prepared numerous Wastewater Management Plans (WMP) for authorities and municipalities statewide.
